Booking Agreement
Confirmation of Booking
Bookings are confirmed with a 50% non-refundable retainer paid upon signing this agreement. This retainer secures the booking and is deducted from the final invoice. It cannot be refunded or exchanged. Before making the retainer payment, ensure the wedding date is available. The retainer cannot be transferred to another date or person, and if the booking is canceled, it’s forfeited.
Services are for the bride and bridal party, with no splitting allowed. If the booking is reduced to less than 4 people, the price may increase. The booking is for a specified start and finish time, not the entire day.
Hotel parking costs are the client’s responsibility. For interstate or international bookings, the client covers travel and accommodation expenses for Hair by Montana and any assistants.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations will result in the retainer being forfeited. In no case will the retainer be credited to the client for other dates or refunded. In the event where the client cancels the bridal booking within 60 days before the wedding date, 75% of the final amount owing will be invoiced and charged. This cancellation fee is payable within 7 days of issue of invoice to the client. In the event where the client cancels the bridal booking more than 60 days before the wedding date, the retainer will be forfeited. No refund will be offered and no further charges will apply.
CHANGES TO ALL BOOKINGS
All changes to bookings must be confirmed via email. Text messages or other forms of changes must be confirmed by email to be effective.
Reductions in Booking
If there are fewer clients in the booking within 30 days of the wedding date, the total cost prior to the changes will be charged. No discounts will apply in such cases.
Rescheduling Wedding Date
If the client requests to reschedule the wedding date to a date suitable for Hair by Montana, notice must be given via email 10 months or earlier from the original booked date. Otherwise, the retainer will be forfeited with no credit. No credit will apply for the retainer paid at the time of the original booking.
Price Increase for Rescheduled Dates
Rescheduling incurs a price increase on the new wedding date. No credit applies for the previous retainer. A non-refundable transfer fee of $300 will be charged for each rescheduled date, added to the total invoice.
Availability
If Hair by Montana is unavailable on the new rescheduled date, the entire retainer will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be given.
Pandemic Terms & Conditions
Cancellation/Rescheduling Due to Lockdown
If the original wedding date must be canceled or rescheduled due to a pandemic-related lockdown imposed by the Australian or NSW government, and Hair by Montana is unable to complete the booking, the retainer will not be refunded or credited for in-studio services.
Instead, the client can reschedule the wedding date to another suitable date using the initial retainer, provided the new date is suitable for Hair by Montana. The booking must be for the full amount of the original booking or more and for bridal services only. Bookings are subject to annual price increases. If Hair by Montana is unavailable on the new date, the retainer will be forfeited with no further charges to the client.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Due to Wedding Restrictions
If the original wedding date is canceled or rescheduled due to government-imposed restrictions on weddings, and the wedding may still proceed, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the wedding is rescheduled due to strict government restrictions, such as fewer than 100 guests, and Hair by Montana is available on the new date, the retainer will roll over to the new date. If Hair by Montana is unavailable on the new date, the retainer will be forfeited.
Positive Covid-19 Test
If the bride/groom or any family member tests positive for COVID-19 and the wedding is rescheduled or canceled, the retainer will be forfeited.
